A historic silver coin from the Netherlands, minted in 1941 during the reign of Queen Wilhelmina (1890-1948). This standard circulation coin was part of the Dutch Gulden system, which remained in use until the introduction of the Euro.
The obverse features a left-facing portrait of Queen Wilhelmina, with her raised hair, surrounded by the inscription "WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN" (Wilhelmina, Queen of the Netherlands).
